Trump - Not Business as Usual in Asia

Courtesy of People magazine

Here is a piece I wrote at the end of March and which was published in the May edition of Quadrant magazine. A little prescient if I say so myself: http://quadrant.org.au/magazine/2018/05/trump-dumped-business-usual-asia/

Bernard Lewis' Dangerous Creed of Freedom

Bernard Lewis has, sadly, died at the age of 101. Quadrant Online has reprised my 2012 article on Lewis' wonderful memoir: https://quadrant.org.au/magazine/2012/10/bernard-lewis-and-the-dangerous-creed-of-freedom/

Ben Shapiro on Gaza

Here is Shapiro explaining what the mainstream media mostly refuses to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqc3PaeJqng

I find it hard to disagree with anything this person is saying

Candace Owens
I mean...where does she go wrong in this interview...I can't see anything she says here that is objectionable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSAoitd1BTQ

If only lefties could flush their 2008 make-believe-maverick meme down the memory hole

That was then and this is now

The PC brigade were not so as sanguine about John McCain when he ran against their candidate in 2008: https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/make-believe-maverick-20081016

Of course, the sentiment towards McCain in the MSM changed when McCain became a #NeverTrump kind of guy, and now the progressive MSM wants to persuade us that they always respected the 2008 Republican presidential nominee. Maybe it is not the Trumpists who have a consistency problem with the man progressives once called a "make believe maverick": https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/5/11/17345060/trump-mccain-2016-2018-right-wing
