Recep Tayyip Erdogan has basically declared war on the people of "south-east Turkey" to pick up the hawkish ultra-nationalist vote and add it to the Islamist vote. He is a demagogue. He is an Islamist demagogue. My heart goes out to the victims of his malignant rule.
